Hello, lurkers! It's been a while since my last update. Things have been on the up lately, and I'm genuinely thankful and blessed. I've been having a blast developing new apps and tech, and I'm very close to finishing a polished, fully usable custom CRM. Given its scope and scale, this one is the crown jewel. It's a full-fledged CRM with extensive built-in logic for sorting, handling, and filing every contact that comes in, and it will link directly to every lead-gen app I build from here on out. On top of that, it has AI-powered custom newsletter generation baked right in, plus a complete event management platform. Think: real estate CRM + Mailchimp + Eventbrite, all in one package. Coming soon: a built-in income and deal tracker, plus calendar and tasks. Meanwhile, as I write this, new lead generation tools are coming online, with custom API handlers built for direct IDX/VOW access to live MLS listings. In tandem, I'm finally executing on some key KBD initiatives, starting with a dedicated KBD CRM that tracks client progress for app development and consulting projects. And the cherry on top: I built a local, offline AI-powered voice dictation app. Hold a single button, speak, and it handles the writing. It's optimized for development work, emails and general text, note-taking, and ideation. The goal behind all of this? Fully custom tools for my business, cutting reliance on paid third-party subscriptions in favour of privacy and self-reliance. I expect to save $100+ a month by moving to tools I've built myself. The time is now. We're living in a moment where you can build your own suite of tools to simplify and organize your life. If you haven't started yet, do it. Become resourceful and self-sufficient. PSA: if you're going to have a personal renaissance morning — breakfast, supplements, self-care, music, the whole main-character routine — maybe check your calendar first. Because I did NOT check mine, and the vent filter guy showed up to what can only be described as a crime scene: breakfast wreckage, mystery supplement wrappers everywhere, furniture staged mid-reshuffle like we were fleeing the country, a broken art piece, and me — bed head, glorious bed head — just standing there. He looked around. He looked at me. He asked, very gently, "Everything okay?" "Yeah!" I said, with the confidence of a man who is clearly not okay. He offered to help me clean. I DECLINED. Because apparently my pride operates independently from my living room. The second he left I turned into a Tasmanian devil and full-on deep cleaned the entire unit — bathroom included — like I was expecting a home inspector, not the guy who just left. Also plot twist: I was his FIRST stop of the day. So somewhere out there, a vent filter guy is telling his team about the disheveled man he wellness-checked this morning, and unless something wilder happens to him today, I'm the story. 3rd attempt at the gym - made it a leg day today so I can get some thumb time in with coding while working out, began catologing equipment at the gym, built out an interactive dash app with all the equipment and will be integrating into work out tracker with an AI assisted regimen with tracking telemetry built in - feel great, will be back again Wednesday to work on upper body. No joke - perfectly verifiable information...The seasoning brand behind your instant ramen packets. Turns out they make a material called ABF (Ajinomoto Build-up Film) — a super thin insulating film used inside the packaging of basically every high-end AI chip on the planet (Nvidia, Intel, AMD, all of them). Here's the kicker: the raw material for ABF is literally waste leftover from making MSG. They found a way to turn seasoning byproduct into one of the most important materials in the entire AI boom. The numbers are kind of insane: 🔹 Over 65% of AI chips and server processors rely on ABF substrates 🔹 Ajinomoto controls 95%+ of the global high-end market — basically no real competition 🔹 Chipmakers are now paying 30–50% more and waiting until 2028 just to lock in supply 🔹 Ajinomoto's stock hit record highs this year, all thanks to their "boring side business" So next time someone says "follow the money" in AI... maybe also follow the soup stock.
