Hello, lurkers! It's been a while since my last update. Things have been on the up lately, and I'm genuinely thankful and blessed. I've been having a blast developing new apps and tech, and I'm very close to finishing a polished, fully usable custom CRM. Given its scope and scale, this one is the crown jewel. It's a full-fledged CRM with extensive built-in logic for sorting, handling, and filing every contact that comes in, and it will link directly to every lead-gen app I build from here on out. On top of that, it has AI-powered custom newsletter generation baked right in, plus a complete event management platform. Think: real estate CRM + Mailchimp + Eventbrite, all in one package. Coming soon: a built-in income and deal tracker, plus calendar and tasks. Meanwhile, as I write this, new lead generation tools are coming online, with custom API handlers built for direct IDX/VOW access to live MLS listings. In tandem, I'm finally executing on some key KBD initiatives, starting with a dedicated KBD CRM that tracks client progress for app development and consulting projects. And the cherry on top: I built a local, offline AI-powered voice dictation app. Hold a single button, speak, and it handles the writing. It's optimized for development work, emails and general text, note-taking, and ideation. The goal behind all of this? Fully custom tools for my business, cutting reliance on paid third-party subscriptions in favour of privacy and self-reliance. I expect to save $100+ a month by moving to tools I've built myself. The time is now. We're living in a moment where you can build your own suite of tools to simplify and organize your life. If you haven't started yet, do it. Become resourceful and self-sufficient. Money isn't easy to come by anymore, and the way to win is to stop relying on others and channel your creativity today. (at Home Office) (interesting, contentment, productivity, ai, status update)

PSA: if you're going to have a personal renaissance morning — breakfast, supplements, self-care, music, the whole main-character routine — maybe check your calendar first. Because I did NOT check mine, and the vent filter guy showed up to what can only be described as a crime scene: breakfast wreckage, mystery supplement wrappers everywhere, furniture staged mid-reshuffle like we were fleeing the country, a broken art piece, and me — bed head, glorious bed head — just standing there. He looked around. He looked at me. He asked, very gently, "Everything okay?" "Yeah!" I said, with the confidence of a man who is clearly not okay. He offered to help me clean. I DECLINED. Because apparently my pride operates independently from my living room. The second he left I turned into a Tasmanian devil and full-on deep cleaned the entire unit — bathroom included — like I was expecting a home inspector, not the guy who just left. Also plot twist: I was his FIRST stop of the day. So somewhere out there, a vent filter guy is telling his team about the disheveled man he wellness-checked this morning, and unless something wilder happens to him today, I'm the story. Optics are everything, folks. Lesson learned. 🫠🔧 (at Home) (humor, rip, ai, status update)
Missed Monday and got back to the gym yesterday and got in today to be back on schedule - modified my gym regimen to begin reducing reps and shifting to overload to push and then increasing set count for weights, in the over the past 2 weeks I have been comfortably increasing weights by 50-80lbs over the starting weights as I get used to it - I also managed to really hone in the breathing as well which allowed me to keep heart rate down for the duration of the exercise, it also shortened training time by nearly half and less sometimes and then allows me to still get some cardio in with time to spare, I also begin to modify my treadmill workout to include inclines which have dramatically increased my energy consumption more steadily overall enhancing the heavy yet relaxed workout. Finding now if I dial back the weights by even 10lbs I can really see the difference the overload training has been doing for me. Over a month in and biggest difference I can report back from the full body regimen, is arms are way more toned, night and day muscle definition on my shoulders which were the weakest link, and noticeably shaving fat from under my pex's and a slightly slimmer physique. Lets keep pushing. (at Anytime fitness) (health, status update)

Woo! Managed to get back to the gym today to resume full-body workouts. I was skeptical given my back was still a bit tweaked, but the determination to get back on track carried me through the week since Monday and I even closed every single ring so far this week. Starting Monday, I made it a point to do some basic resistance training and lots of stretching, then pushed through an hour each day of pure walking at the gym starting Tuesday. Up until last night, I was still struggling to roll over in bed. This morning I got in on time at the gym and went all out — held back on some weights for good measure, but for the ones I didn't think would strain my back, I took a chance and went straight to regular training weights. Despite the pain, I still managed to close those rings and then some, and I'm genuinely enjoying the process of leading an active lifestyle. Can't wait to be back on the Apollo this weekend! To top it all off, I stayed focused on making quality home-cooked meals all week, and even squeezed in a hot tub soak midweek — which may have been the secret recovery weapon. All in all, lesson learned: gotta protect the back at all costs. (at Anytime Fitness) (health, status update)
Was coming from a dinner in North York and I was walking around holding my back like I’m pregnant 🫃 gotta really be careful about tweaking my back next time oof 😥 (at Showing appointment) (humor, status update)
6th attempt at the gym did some quality full body workouts again about an hrs worth, about 6km of total walking in, did something crazy and scooted from home to Streetsville a 22km adventure for the heck of it and did it within 68 mins too pretty good, saw tons of great bike lanes and paths took a gravel path for one quarter the trip through wooded area was totally amazing view - all this while stupidly carrying my full work load with me about 40lbs+ and while I got it done I ended up tweaking my back badly - don’t advise carrying weights while riding it’s not great at all for you - lesson learned (at Mississauga after work) (health, rip, status update)
Stopping for lunch before showings - had a good walk yesterday and a great ride this morning to Burlington - looking forward to the next ride (at 6ixty wings Milton) (status update)
